Summary:
Martin Collins asserts that the large Christian-professing church ruling over the world was not God's church, but Satan's counterfeit. God's church has always been, and will continue to be, small, often fighting for its survival against treacherous wolves who have the ugly habit of persecuting, attacking, and devouring true believers, branding them as heretics. God's church is composed only of those He has hand-picked and who have totally and humbly submitted to His leadership, continually growing in the truth. According to Laurence Peter, if we look to history, we can see the sins and mistakes we are going to make. This segment of history goes through the stormy periods of the Ephesian and Smyrnan eras.
